Digital Movie







o What was I supposed to accomplish and how?

In this assignment I was suppose to accomplish
From the teacher perspective,
  • locate a GPS that could be suitable for a student movie-making project in your class
  • describe the movie-making project
  • list 5 expectations for the student video product

From the student perspective (3rd grade and up),
  • create a digital movie artifact that emphasizes students’ creativity and/or production skills
demonstrate the ability to create digital media within Fair Use guidelines


o What did I learn (growth/progress)?

This was a very fun assignment to do, although it took a lot of time and effort, it was an overall learning experience. One thing that I learned was that I had MovieMaker on my computer. I never knew that this program was there but I will put use to it in the near future. In this I learned how to take one concept and create a movie to further explain the concept and make it fun and interesting to watch.

o What should I have done differently?

Based on my peers comments I received on my video there are a few changes I will make for the next digital movie I will make. Adding more narration and music will be something I add.

o Why is this artifact important to my targeted career?

This is an important artifact to my targeted career because I was allowed to create something outside of the traditional rehealm of teaching in front of the class. This assignment allowed for me to show that students can learn anywhere and teachers can teach anywhere.
